HAZARDS
We learned that hazards are anything that can cause harm, such as slippery floors, sharp objects, faulty equipment, or bad weather. Safety hazards are specific hazards that can directly cause accidents, injuries, or even death if not addressed. Both can be found anywhere, at home, in school, outside, or in the workplace. Staying aware of our surroundings helps prevent harm. Taking simple actions like cleaning up spills, handling tools properly, and following rules reduces risks. In workplaces, regular safety training teaches how to identify and control hazards. Wearing protective equipment provides extra safety. Reporting hazards immediately helps prevent further danger. Promoting a culture of safety makes everyone more alert and responsible. Understanding hazards and safety hazards protects lives and ensures a safe environment for all.
